Miss Josephine Byrne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. Byrne and Matthew Herman, son of Mrs. Clara Herman,
both of Ottoville, were married here by the Rev. F. S. Arnoldi in the Immaculate Conception church here. They
were attended by Miss Edwina Miller and Orin Byrne. Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served in
the home of the bride's parents. The bridegroom is employed at the Delphos plant of the Gramm Motors, Inc.
They will make their home here.

Pretty Wedding Is Solemnized At Ottoville
Miss Irene Odenweller and Eugene Ricker are United in Marriage Tuesday in the Immaculate
Conception Church at Ottoville — Rev. J. S. Arnoldi Celebrates Nuptial High Mass
A charming early spring wedding was solemnized at the Ottoville Immaculate Conception Church Tuesday
morning at 7 o'clock, when Miss Irene Odenweller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Odenweller, of Ottoville, became
the bride of Eugene Ricker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ricker, East Fifth street. Rev. J. S. Arnoldi read the
marriage vows and also celebrated the nuptial high mass. The single ring ceremony was used.
Miss Mary Beatrice Ricker, sister of the groom, and Thomas Odenweller, brother of the bride, were the
attendants.
Music during the mass was furnished by F. J. Uhrich and his two sons, Gerhardt and John. Miss Marie
Simons, of Lima, played the violin at the reading of the marriage vows and also at the offertory of the mass.
The bride was becomingly attired in the gown of rust chiffon fashioned with shirred bodice and a long full skirt.
Black satin pumps, blond hose, eggshell gloves and an attractive black braid hat completed her costume. She
carried a bouquet of Kores roses.
The frock of, the bridesmaid was of green chiffon, with a bolero effect, tight bodice and a full skirt. She wore
black slippers, blond hose, eggshell gloves and a large black hat. Her arm bouquet was of butterfly roses.
A reception for the bridal party and immediate families was held at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Odenweller. Misses Mabel Wannemacher, Zelma Lauer, of Ottoville, Mabel Odenweller, of Kalida and
Denelda Flanagan, of Delphos, were the table waitresses. The Odenweller home was tastefully decorated in a
motif of rust and green.
Following the reception, Mr. and Mrs. Ricker left for a two week's motor trip to Washington, Now York and
various other places of interest Mr. Ricker wore a brown English tweed suit for traveling.
Mrs. Ricker was a graduate of the Ottoville High School, class of ’29. Until the time of her marriage she was in
training at St. Vincent's Hospital, Toledo. Mr. Ricker graduated from St. John's High in the class of '20 and also
attended Notre Dame University. He is now employed at Ricker Bros, planing mill.
Both the bride and groom are very well-known to both Ottoville and Delphos residents. They will reside at 411
East Third street.

Foster-Ricker Nuptials Event Of Tuesday
Rev. Father J. S. Arnoldi Receives Marriage Vows at Ceremony Solemnized in Ottoville Tuesday —
Reception Follows Wedding — Leave on Trip South
Miss Emma Ricker was united in Holy Matrimony to Frank Foster at the Immaculate Conception Church, in
Ottoville, Tuesday morning. Rev. J. S. Arnoldi officiated at the nuptial high mass and received the marriage vows.
Miss Ricker is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ricker, of west of Ottoville, and Mr. Foster is a son of John Foster,
of Alabama.
Miss Leona Ricker, sister of the bride, and Andrew Baumer, of Ft. Recovery, cousin of the groom, were the
attendants.
The bride was attired in the traditional while bridal satin with a close fitting bodice and a full skirt of tulle. Her
veil of tulle was in cap effect. She wore white slippers and carried a bouquet of bride's roses.
Miss Ricker wore a pretty frock of nile green georgette with a two tier skirt and uneven hemline. Her slippers
and hose were blonde and her becoming hat was of hair braid. She carried a bouquet of pink roses
A reception for about one hundred and thirty guests was held at the home of the bride's parents, following
the ceremony. Serving the guests were Misses Loretta Beining, Alma and Margaret Rayman, Hilda Utrup and
Clara, Loretta and Martha Hilvers.
Mr. and Mrs. Foster left Tuesday on a several weeks' trip through the South. Mr. Foster is the owner a
garage in Alabama and the newly-married couple will reside there.

Pretty Wedding Solemnized In Ottoville
Impressive Ceremony Unites Miss Mabel Wannemacher, of Ottoville, and Alfred Maher, of Greenville
— Brother of Groom Officiates at Wedding
A charming ceremony was performed Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at the Immaculate Conception Church in
Ottoville when Miss Mabel Wannemacher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Wannemacher, of Ottoville, became the
bride of Alfred Maher, of Greenville, Ohio. Rev. Father M. A. Maher, brother of the groom, was the celebrant in
the solemn nuptial high mass, Rev. Father S. J. Eisel served as deacon and Rev. Father James Haley, was sub-
deacon. The single ring ceremony was used.
Miss Florentine Sellet, of Toledo, close friend of the bride, was bridesmaid and Mrs. Carl King, of Toledo, a
sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Robert Maher, of Greenville, a nephew of the groom, officiated as
groomsman.
The music during the mass was furnished by the Ottoville Church choir and several violin solos were also
rendered by Gerhard Uhrich. Miss Marie Uhrich sang a solo accompanied by F. J. Uhrich on the organ and
Gerhard Uhrich at the violin.
The bride was lovely in a gown of pink chiffon, with a long full skirt and a jacket bodice. The godets of the
skirt were of lace and the dress was trimmed in silk lace. She wore a pretty pink straw poke hat trimmed in pink
velvet and pink kid slippers and hose. Her flowers were butterfly roses.
Miss Sellet wore green chiffon fashioned with a tight bodice and a long ruffled skirt. Her hat was of tan straw
with trimming in green velvet and she wore light slippers and hose. She carried an arm bouquet of pink roses.
The frock of the matron of honor, Mrs. King, was of orchid chiffon, with a cape collar, a tight bodice and a full skirt.
The dress was trimmed in ecru lace. Her hat was of orchid hair braid and she wore blonde slippers and hose. Her
flowers were pink roses.
Immediately following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Wannemacher, for the bridal party and about fifty guests. An attractive color scheme of pink and green
was used. Serving the guests were: Mrs. Mayme Harmon, Misses Euletta Rieger, Selma Lauer, Ruth Otte, Colleen
Niedecken, Evelyn Zahm and Miss Louise Maher, of Greenville, Ohio.
Later in the day, Mr. and Mrs. Wannemacher left for a northern trip and upon their return they will at home to
their many friends at Celina.

Father Eisel Officiates At Nuptial Affair
Pretty Wedding is Solemnized Wednesday Morning When Miss Marcella Brinkman is United in Holy
Wedlock to Frank Fenbert at Ottoville
A pretty wedding ceremony was solemnized Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock when Miss Marcella Brinkman
was united in marriage to Frank Fenbert at the Immaculate Conception church in Ottoville. Miss Brinkman is a
daughter of Mrs. Mary Brinkman, southeast of Ottoville and Mr. Fenbert is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fenbert,
Sr., of Ottawa. Rev. Father S. J. Eisel officiated at the ceremony. The sanctuary of the church was beautifully
decorated with ferns and flowers. The Ottoville church choir sang during the services.
Mrs. Alex Wannemacher, accompanied by Gerhard Uhrich at the violin and F. J. Uhrich at the organ, sang
"Ave Maria" at the Offertory.
Miss Loietta Brinkman, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, with Miss Helen Ruen, a close friend of the bride,
as maid of honor. John Fenbert, brother of the groom, was his attendant.
The bride wore a becoming gown of white georgette, fashioned with a tight bodice and full circular skirt. The
dress had a large collar of georgette. Her veil was of silk embroidered tulle fashioned in cap effect. Her flowers
were a bouquet of bride's roses and baby’s breath.
The pretty dress of Miss Brinkman was of green georgette fashioned along the same lines as that of the
bride. She wore a band of silver leaves in her hair and blonde slippers and hose. She carried a bouquet of pink
Ophelia roses.
The maid of honor was attired in a frock of peach georgette, along princess lines. She wore a band of pearls
in her hair and carried butterfly roses.
A reception was held at the home of the bride's mother for one hundred and twenty-five guests. Serving
were: Misses Elizabeth Alkorn, of Youngstown; Barbara, Frances and Regina Heitmeyer, Clotilda and Agnes
Schlagbaum, Henrietta Kehres, Monica Brinkman, of Ft. Wayne, Martha Hedrick, of Kalida; Mary Utendorf, of
Ottawa; Bernadette Heitmeyer, of Glandorf.
Mr. and Mrs. Fenbert are taking an eastern motor trip and will be at home to their friends on a farm near
Columbus Grove. For her trip, Mrs. Fenbert, wore a charming tan and blue ensemble with accessories to
correspond.

Pretty Ceremony Unites Miss Frances Ruen and Harry Wolke in Marriage — Reception at Home of
Bride's Parents — Will Reside at Cleveland
Miss Frances Ruen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ruen, of Ottoville, was united in holy matrimony to Harry
Wolke, son of Mrs. Josephine Wolke, of Cloverdale, in an attractive wedding solemnized in the Immaculate
Conception Church, in Ottoville, Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock. Rev. Father J. S. Arnoldi officiated at the
nuptial high mass and the double ring ceremony. The music during the mass was furnished by F. J. Uhrich at the
organ and Gerhard Uhrich at the violin.
The bride chose as her attendants, her sister, Miss Dorothy Ruen, and Miss Loretta Wolke, a sister of the
groom. Fred Horstman, a cousin of the groom, and Frank Metzger, close friend, were groomsmen.
The bride was lovely in a gown of white satin with a tight bodice, net flounce, and a long full skirt. Her veil of
tulle was in cap-effect and extended in a graceful train. She wore white satin slippers and hose. Her flowers were
bride's roses.
Miss Ruen wore a pretty frock of orchid silk crepe, fashioned similarly to that of the bride. Her slippers were
orchid satin and she wore an orchid hair braid hat. She carried a bouquet of pink roses.
The frock of the other bridesmaid, Miss Wolke, was of pink georgette with a cape collar and a two-tiered skirt
with a long uneven hemline, she wore pink slippers and a pink hair-braid hat. Her flowers were pink roses.
At 12:30 o'clock, a dinner was served to the bridal party and about one hundred und thirty-five guests at the
home of the bride's parents. The appointments were in white, pink and orchid. At five o'clock, a luncheon was
served. Serving were: Misses Helen Ruen, Selma Lauer, Martha Ruen, Clara Maag, of Lima, and Mathilda Maas,
of Cloverdale.
Mr. and Mrs. Wolke will leave Sunday for their home at 2605 Derbyshire road, Cleveland. Mr. Wolke is
employed with the U. S. Illuminating Company.

Miss Lulu K. Obringer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael E. Obringer, of Ottoville, was united in holy
matrimony to Frank E. Friedman, son of Mrs. Anna Friedman, of Canton, Ohio, in a charming ceremony
solemnized at the Immaculate Conception Church in Ottoville Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock. Rev. Father J. S.
Arnoldi celebrated the nuptial high mass. The sanctuary of the Church was decorated with ferns, palms and
bouquets of cut flowers. F. J. Uhrich served as organist and Hugo and Gerhard Uhrich accompanied on the
violins. Miss Marie Uhrich sang the "Panis Angelicus" during the offertory of the mass.
Miss Obringer chose as her attendant an intimate friend, Miss Genevieve Wurst and Harold Weaver, cousin
of the bride, was best man.
The bride was lovely in a gown of eggshell satin with a tight bodice and a long, full two tiered skirt. Her veil of
tulle, fashioned in cap-effect, was trimmed with pearls, rhinestones and orange blossoms and it extended in a long
graceful train. She carried, a beautiful shower bouquet of ivory roses and baby’s breath.
Miss Wurst wore green satin fashioned in princess style with a full skirt and uneven hemline. For a headdress
she wore a bandeau of silver leaves with a green tulle bow fashioned to the back in long streamers of tulle. Her
slippers were green satin and she wore hose of a blonde shade. Her flowers were an arm bouquet of pink roses
and snapdragons.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents for the bridal party and sixty
guests. An attractive motif of green and eggshell was carried out in the decorations. serving the guests were: Mrs.
George King, Mrs. L. J. Wannemacher, Mrs. O. J. Fatum, of Ottoville; Mrs. B. E. Reddington, of Delphos; Misses
Euletta Rieger, Lorene Altenberger, Marie Uhrich, Alberta Altenberger, of Ottoville; and, Misses Leone Weber and
Martha Schlagbaum, of Ft. Wayne.
Mr. and Mrs. Friedman left late Tuesday afternoon for a week's eastern motor trip. For the trip, Mrs.
Friedman wore a lovely gown of dark blue chiffon, a black felt hat and corresponding accessories. Upon their
return, Mr. and Mrs. Friedman will be at home at 2246 East Tuscarawas street, Canton.
Out-of-town guests present at the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Oscar McConmick and Mrs. Adolph Lauer, of
