Miss Clara Burgei, of Ottoville, and Adolph Rahrig, of Landeck, United in Holy Matrimony at
Immaculate Conception Church — Rev. J. S. Arnoldi Performs Ceremony – Will Reside Southwest of
Delphos on a Farm
The wedding of Miss Clara Burgei, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Burgei, of Ottoville, and Adolph
Rahrig, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mathias Rahrig, of Landeck, was solemnized at the Immaculate Conception Church
at Ottoville Wednesday morning at 8:30 o’clock. Rev. J. S. Arnoldi performed the single ring ceremony.
The bridal couple was accompanied by Miss Esther Rahrig, sister of the groom, as bridesmaid, and Edwin
Stadtmiller, of Barberton, Ohio, cousin of the bride, as best man.
The bride wore a beautiful creation white georgette fashioned with an overskirt of shadow lace and
trimmed with rhinestones. Her veil of tulle was arranged in shirred cap effect and was trimmed with pearls and
orange blossoms. She wore White kid slippers and white hose to correspond She carried a shower bouquet of
brides' roses and lilies.
The bridesmaid wore a gown of peach georgette attractively styled with a full skirt. In her hair, she wore a
bandeau of peach satin ribbon and lilies of the valley. Black patent leather slippers and blond hose and
accessories to match completed the costume. She carried a bouquet of Ophelia roses.
A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents at noon. The bride's table was centered with a
large wedding cake, and four wedding tapers. The home was decorated in a color scheme of peach and white
Mr. and. Mrs. Rahrig left after the reception on a wedding trip, to Barberton, Cleveland and Akron and will be
gone for a week. Upon their return they will reside on a farm southwest of Delphos.
The following were present from out of the city: Mr. and Mrs. Mat Rahrig and family; Melvin Rahrig, Mrs.
Joseph Hugel and Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Hugel of Landeck.

A pretty wedding was solemnized at the Immaculate Conception Church at Ottoville Tuesday morning at 8:
30 o'clock when Miss Eleanore Rellinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Rellinger, Sr. became the bride of
Joseph Brinkman, son of Mrs. Mary Brinkman, southeast of Ottoville. Rev. J. S. Arnoldi performed the single
ring ceremony in the presence of a host of relatives and friends of the bridal party.
The bridal couple was attended by Miss Clara Brinkman, of Youngstown sister of the groom, and Charles
Keller, of Dayton, nephew of the bride.
The bride wore a pretty gown of white georgette fashioned with a basque waist and full skirt of geortette
and silk lace. She wore an embroidered tulle veil arranged in a cap effect and held in place with a wreath of
orange blossoms. She wore white kid slippers and white hose. She carried a bouquet of bride's roses and
white snap dragons. She wore a strand of pearls, a gift from her mother.
The bridesmaid wore a gown of green georgette, a two-piece effect with a full circular skirt of georgette
and green silk lace. A large picture hat of leghorn straw trimmed, with silk lace, and blond kid slippers and
hose completed her costume. She carried a bouquet of Ophelia roses and pink snap dragons.
A reception was held at noon at the home of the groom's mother. The home was attractively decorated
with a color scheme of green and white. The table waiters were: Martha Schlagbaum, Helen Ruen, Henrietta
Kehres, Frances Trentkamp, Barbara and Frances Heitmeyer and Eleanore Brinkman, of Ottoville; and
Burnedette Heitmeyer, of Ottawa.
The newly weds left on a honeymoon to Cleveland and other places. They will be gone for about a week.
Upon their return they will reside in this city at 529 North Canal street.

A pretty wedding was solemnized at the Immaculate Conception Church at Ottoville Wednesday morning
at eight o'clock when Miss Elizabeth Landwehr, daughter of Mrs. Catherine Landwehr, and Carl Koenig, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Koenig, of Leipsic, took the Vows in holy wedlock in the presence of scores of relatives
and friends. Rev. J. S. Arnoldi performed the wedding ceremony and celebrated the nuptial mass.
Attending the bridal couple were Miss Velma Landwehr, sister of the bride, as bridesmaid, and John
Siefker, a cousin of the groom, as bestman.
The bride was attired in a gown of white georgette fashioned with a full skirt and trimmed in lace. She wore
a tulle veil arranged in shirred cap effect. She carried bouquet of white carnations.
The bridesmaid wore a frock of salmon colored georgette, styled similarly to that of the bride. She wore
blond kid slippers and hose to match and a bandeau of rhinestones in her hair. She carried a bouquet of pink
carnations and sweet peas.
Following the ceremony, a wedding reception was held at the home of the bride's mother, to the immediate
members of the family and a few close relatives. The following served as table waitresses, Bemadine Siefker,
Coletta Kehres and Caroline Klima. The home was decorated in a color scheme of salmon and white.
The newly-weds will receive their many friends at their residence at Leipsic.
They are receiving the congratulation and belt wishes of their many friends.

A pretty wedding was solemnized at the Immaculate Conception church, at Ottoville, Tuesday morning at 8:
30 o'clock, when Miss Martha Wurst, daughter of Mrs. Frances Wurst, of Ottoville became the bride of
Clarence Wessell, son of Mr. arid Mrs. Joseph Wessell, of Ottawa. Rev. Francis Hermiller performed the single
ring ceremony in the presence of a score of relatives and friends.
The bridal couple was attended by Miss Bernadine Wurst, sister of the bride, as bridesmaid, and Albert
Diemer, of Ottawa, a close friends of the groom.
The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of white georgette fashioned with a tight bodice and a hoop
effect skirt trimmed in ruffles of silk lace. She wore a tulle veil with cap effect arid trimmed in lace and orange
blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of bride's roses.
The bridesmaid wore a handsome frock of Nile green georgette styled with a full skirt. She wore a band of
silver leaves in her hair and was also attired in black patent slipper and blond hose. She carried a bouquet of
Ophelia roses.
A wedding breakfast was served to the members of the bridal party and a few close friends at the home of
the bride's mothers. A wedding dinner and inception was held at Ottawa at the home of the groom's parents.
Members of the families and a few close friends were guests upon this occasion. The home was attractively
decorated in a color scheme of green and white.
During the course of the day, the newly weds left on a honeymoon. They will stop at Washington, D. C.,
New York and various other points. Upon their return they will receive their many friends at their home in
readiness at Dayton.

Miss Kathleen Odenweller and Melvin Sullivan Wed at Immaculate Conception Church at Ottoville

One of the most elaborate nuptial events of the season took place at the Immaculate Conception church
at Ottoville at 8:30 o'clock Thursday morning when Miss Kathleen Odenweller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex
Odenwellcr, of Ottoville, and Melvin Sullivan, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Sullinan, of Toledo, were united in holy
wedlock. Rev. Francis Hermiller performed the single ring ceremony.
The Lohengrin wedding march was played as the bridal party approached the altars, Little' Catherine
Odenweller, and Master Harold Flannagan, of Delphos, cousins of the bride, led the procession, the latter
serving as ring bearer. Miss Irene Odenweller, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, Delmar Sullivan, of Toledo,
brother of the groom was best man, Little Alice Odenweller, sister of the bride, was flower girl while Miss
Gwendolyn Flanagan, of Delphos, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor.
The bride wore for her bridal gown a beautiful creation of white georgette trimmed in silk lace and
fashioned with a full three flounce skirt. A court train of embroidered tulle was caught to a cornet, bandeau of
silk lace and orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of brides' roses and baby breath.
The maid of honor wore a handsome yellow beaded gown combined with silver lace and fashioned with a
bodice style and full skirt with uneven hem line. She wore a large yellow picture hat of braid and straw and
blond slippers and hose. She wore a corsage of Ophelia roses and sweet peas.
The bridesmaid wore a becoming gown of blue silk taffeta fashioned with a bodice waist and full skirt with
uneven hem line and puffed effect. She wore a large picture hat of blue braid trimmed in a band of orchid
velvet ribbon. She wore gray slippers and hose and wore a corsage of orchid sweet peas and white roses.
Catherine Odenweller wore dainty frock of white silk crepe daintily trimmed in ruffles and satin rose buds. She
wore white slippers and hose and a wreath of silver leaves in her hair. She carried a bowpeep cane decorated
with red rose buds.
Harold Flanagan, the ring-bearer was attired in a white suit with white slippers and hose and carried a red
rose, the ring being hidden in the center tied with satin ribbon.
The flower girl wore a pretty dress of white georgette styled with ruffles and satin ribbon. Her white slippers
and hose, a wreath of silver leaves in her hair, a bow-peep cane trimmed in red -rose buds complete her
costume.
During the offertory of the mass the "Ave Maria" was sung by Mrs. Alex Wannemacher accompanied by F.
J. Uhrich, organist, and Gerhard Uhrich, violinist.
A wedding dinner and reception were held at the home of the bride's parents for the members of the bridal
party, the immediate members of the family, aunts and uncles and a few close relatives. A color scheme of
yellow, blue and white, predominated in the home appointments. The table waiters are: Mabel, Cecilia Helen
and Mary Odenweller and Mildred Wannemacher.
The newly weds left on a wedding tour to Canada and various other points. Upon their return they will
reside at the home of the groom's parents at Toledo.

Miss Theresa Dickman, of near Ottoville, became, the bride of Fred Maas, of Miller City, at the Immaculate
Conception Church, at Ottoville Tuesday morning at eight o'clock. Rev. Francis Hermiller celebrated the
nuptial high mass and performed the single ring ceremony.
The bridal couple was attended by Alphonse Heitmeyer, nephew of the bride, and Miss Luella Maas,
daughter of the groom.
The bride was attired in a gown of sand georgette fashioned with ecru lace and a full flair skirt. She wore a
small hat of tan satin trimmed in gold. Blonde slippers and hose and a shower bouquet of white carnation
completed her costume.
The bridesmaid wore a pretty frock of rose beige georgette becomingly fashioned and a small gold cloth
hat trimmed in black velvet. She also wore blonde slippers and hose and carried a bouquet of pink carnations.
A wedding dinner was served and a reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Heitmeyer with
about one hundred and fifty in attendance. The table waitresses were: Barbara, Frances and Regina
Heitmeyer, Frances Trentkamp, Philomena and Catherine Pohl, Theresa Ruen, Eleanora Brinkman Anna
Hohlbein, Denelda, Anna and Grinella Dickman and Theresa Maas.
Mr. and Mrs. Maas will make their home at Ohio City. They are receiving the congratulations and best
wishes of their many friends.

Wedding Is Solemnized On Thanksgiving
Miss Blanche Helen Wurst and Bernard Edward Reddington Wed at Immaculate Conception Church
at 8:00 O'Clock —Wedding Breakfast at Cedars Tea Room Will Reside With Groom's Parent’s for the
Present
A pretty event of Thanksgiving Day was the wedding of Miss Blanche Helen Wurst, of Ottoville and
Bernard Edward Reddington of this city. The Wedding took place at 8:00 o'clock at the Immaculate Conception
church at Ottoville. Rev. J. S. Arnoldi performed, the single ring ceremony and also celebrated the nuptial high
mass. The church choir furnished the singing.
The bridal couple was escorted to the altar by Miss Marie Wurst, sister of the bride, as bridesmaid and
Alfred Gast, a close friend of the groom, as groomsman.
The bride presented a pretty picture in her handsome creation of cocoa chiffon crepe, the skirt of which
has an even hemline. A wide girdle find a cape back of transparent velvet were attractively designed on the
frock. Her hat was of brown satin. She wore brown velvet footwear with hose to match and carried a shower
bouquet of bronze roses tied with gold tulle.
Appliqued flowers made of brown velvet were used on the gown of dark brown combination worn by the
bridesmaid. The gown was fashioned with a full skirt and tight waist. She wore a pretty hat of tan and brown
combination brown velvet slippers with hose to match. She carried a bouquet of bronze roses tied with gold
tulle.
A wedding breakfast was served at the Cedars tea room on West Second street to tile Bridal party.
Following the breakfast the newly-weds left on a brief honeymoon to Chicago and upon their return they will
reside at the home of the groom's parents for the present time.
Mrs. Reddington is a daughter of Mrs. Minnie Wurst, of West Fifth street. She was employed for the past
five year's at the Ottoville bank. She is a graduate of Lima' Business College. Mrs. Reddington is among
Ottoville's most popular young ladies and she has a host of friends to wish her happiness.
Mr. Reddington is a son of Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Reddington, West Second street, and is employed in the
Cost department of the New Delphos Manufacturing Company. He also has many friends in this city who are
extending their congratulations and best wishes for a happy wedded life.
