Young People Happily Wedded
Harry Neidecken, of Delphos, and Miss. Amelia Otte, Joined In Wedlock, at Ottoville
A pretty wedding occurred at St. Mary's Catholic church, In Ottoville, Wednesday morning, when Miss
Amelia Otte, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Otte, plighted her troth to Mr. Harry Neidecken, The
ceremony was performed by Rev. Fr. Gerwert, at 8 o'clock, in the presence of a large number of relatives and
friends. The bride was beautifully gowned in white gloria silk with pearl trimmings. She wore a bridal veil and
carried a single white American Beauty rose. Her sister, Miss Gertrude, who acted as bridesmaid, wore a
costume of heliotrope siciliene cloth, with a hat to match. Carl Neidecken, brother of the groom, was the
groomsman. Frank Louth, of Delphos, uncle of the bride, presided at the pipe organ and rendered
Mendelssohn's wedding march as the bridal party preceded to the altar.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, one hundred and fifty guests
being present. A wedding dinner was served at noon.
Mr. and Mrs. Neidecken received many handsome wedding, presents of silver, china, linen, etc.
Mr. Neidecken was formerly a Delphos boy who has been located in Ottoville for several years, where he has a
photograph gallery and is one of the most enterprising of the young business men of that town. His bride is
well known in Delphos and has many friends here. Mr. and Mrs. Neidecken will reside with the parents of the
bride this winter, and will probably go to housekeeping in the spring. They came to Delphos, Wednesday
evening and left for Cullman, Ala., where they, will spend about ten days.
Those who went to Ottoville to attend the wedding, from Delphos, were Henry Louth, Miss Edith Louth, C.
P. Suttles, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Louth and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Louth and family, Will. Louth, Mr. and Mrs.
George Louth, Miss Jessie Cochran, Mr. and Mrs. Neidecken, Barney Shaffer, Mrs. Krouse, of Toledo, Miss
Anna Collisey of Cleveland, Mr. and Mrs. Luke Noonan, Elida.
