Mass of Christian burial for Ethel M. Honigford, 84, of Ottoville, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, the Rev. Sylvan Obergefell officiating. Burial will be made in St. Mary's
Cemetery, Ottoville.
She died at 6 p.m. June 13th in St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born Dec. 16, 1911, in Ottoville to Peter
and Louise (Perrin) Schmitt.
On August 27, 1929, she married Joseph G. Honigford, who died June 18, 1979.
Survivors include two sons, Robert (Illa) Honigford and Thomas (Jennifer) Honigford of Lima; a daughter,
Patricia (Robert) Ramirez of Tuscon, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Honigford was a homemaker. She was a
member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and its Alter Rosary Society, the Ottoville Catholic
Ladies of Columbia, and the Ottoville Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 3740.
Friends may call 5-9 p.m. today in Kolkmeyer-Helmkamp-Siferd Funeral Home Ottoville, where a parish
rosary will be said at 8:30 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to Immaculate Conception Catholic Building Repair Fund.

Rudolph J. Gasser, 76, Ottoville, died at 3:05 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 1996, at St. Rita's Medical
Center, Lima.
He was born September 16, 1920, in Ottoville, to Gebhard and Mayme (Bohn) Gasser. Survivors include a
brother, Gebhard (Ruth) Gasser, Delphos; two sisters, Rose Mary Kramer and Mrs. Herman (Alma) Beckman,
both of Delphos; and 16 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Wilma Gasser; and a nephew. Mr. Gasser was a retired
laborer from Delphos Bending Company and he was a farmer. He was a member of Immaculate Conception
Catholic Church, Ottoville, and its Holy Name Society, and the Delphos Eagles.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. today (Wednesday), December 18, at Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville. Rev. Sylvan Obergefell officiated. Burial was made in St. Mary's
Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Kolkmeyer-Helmkamp-Siferd Funeral Home, Ottoville. Memorial
contributions may be made to masses.
