Joe H. Fredericks
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the Immaculate Conception church here for Joe H.
Fredericks, 64, of Big Rapids, Michigan, who died Monday in the Community hospital in Big Rapids. The Rev.
Albert Gerhardstein will be in charge of services.
A native of Ottoville, he was born October 18, 1887. He was plant superintendent of the Mersman Bros.
Corp. in Celina until 1945.
Survivors include his widow, Lela; one daughter, Mrs. Bernice Bernard, St. Henry; two sons, Hubert,
Cleveland, Arthur, Traverse City, Michigan, on step-son, Elmer Buxton, Celina; three sisters, Mrs. Roy Neiter,
Mrs. William Rush and Mrs. Homer Minkner, all of Dayton; eight brothers, Clarence and Henry, both of Celina,
Sylvester, William, Laverne and Andrew, all of Dayton, Orville og Eaton, and Albert of Washington.
The body will be taken to the Pulskamp funeral home, Celina, where friends may call.

Catherine Clement
Mrs. Catherine Clement, 59, died at 3:30 a. m Thursday, in her home three mile east of Delphos. Death
was due to cancer. She bad been seriously ill a month.
Born June 26, 1892, in Ottoville she was married Oct. 17, 1922, to Anthony Clement who survives. She
was a member of St. John's Catholic church of Delphos, the Altar society, C. L. of C. and the American Legion
auxiliary.
Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Ladonna Klima, Route 2, Ft. Jennings; three sisters,
Mrs. J. A. Malch, San Martin, Calif., Mrs. Charles Fraley Van Nuys, Calif, and Mrs. Sylvester Mesker, Delphos;
two brothers, Edward Didion, Chicago and Sylvester Didion, Toledo.
Requiem high mass will be sale at 9:30 a. m. Saturday in St. John's Catholic church. Burial will be in the
church cemetery
The body will remain in Kolkmeyer funeral home until time for the services.

Elaine Miller (Stillborn)
Graveside Rites were held in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Ottoville, last Friday afternoon for the infant
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Miller, who died shortly after birth in Memorial Hospital, Lima on Thursday.
In addition to the parents the infant is survived by the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Tennie Miller, of
Ottoville, and the maternal grandfather, Robert Metzger, of Delphos.

Nellie Remlinger
Mrs. Nellie Remlinger, 82, died in her home at Ottoville at 5.20 p m. Thursday after a 20-months illness.
She was born July 23, 1870, near Ottoville, the daughter of Walter and Henrietta Huysman. She was
married June 17, 1896, to William Remlinger, who survives.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church at Ottoville, the Catholic Altar Rosary Society
and Catholic Ladies of Columbia.
Other survivors are two sons, Walter A. and Harold C , Delphos; two brothers, Henry W Huysman,
Kalamazoo, Mich , and William Huysman, Merriwether Mich., two sisters, Miss Callie Huysman, Toledo, and
Mrs. G. R. McLay, Hollywood, Calif.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Requiem mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the church, the Rev. Henry Gerwert celebrated. Burial will be
in St. John’s Cemetery Delphos.
The body will be at the Kolkmeyer funeral home, Delphos.

Sylvester Perrin
Sylvester Perrin, 52, of Ottoville, died at 8:30 a. m. Friday in a Toledo hospital after an extended illness.
He was born Mar. 5, 1898, in Ottoville, the son of the late Louis and Josephine Perrin. He was never
married.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Andy Clements, Ottoville, and two brothers Charles, Ottoville, and William,
Seattle, Wash.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Henry Gerwert
will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body will be removed from the Kolkmeyer funeral home, Delphos, to the home of Mrs. Clements
Sunday morning and will remain there until services.

Wilhemina Gergen
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at nine o’clock in the Immaculate Conception Catholic
Church at Ottoville for Mrs. Wilhelmina Gergen, 73, who died in her home two miles north of Ft. Jennings,
Friday following an illness of six weeks.
Mrs. Gergen was born in Germany on September 18, 1878, and came to this country as a child. She was
married to Peter Gergen who preceded her in death in 1949.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Leo Hoehn, of Lima, and Mrs. Sylvester Hoehn at home; a sister, Mrs.
Benjamin Horstman, of Kalida, and three brothers, Henry Grote, Kalida, Louis Grote, Ottoville, and Benjamin
Grote of Lansing, Ill.
Rev. Henry Gerwert, pastor, officiated at the last rites and burial was made in the church cemetery.

Anthony H. Koester
Tony H. Koester, 55, prominent Montery-tp farmer, two miles west of Ottoville, died in St. Rita's hospital.
Lima, at 5:35 p. m. Thursday He was a patient at the hospital for nine days.
At the time of his death he was a crop adjuster for the Production and Marketing administration in Putnam-
co, representative for the Columbus Mutual Insurance Co., Justice of Peace in Montery-tp, a member of
Immaculate Conception Catholic church, the St. Joseph's society and the Holy Name society.
He was born Feb. 9, 1897, in Ottoville and his marriage to Petronella Greulich took place here in 1921.
She died May 25, 1948. On Nov. 13. 1948, he was married to Minnie Stevenson here.
She survives with two daughters. Miss Tommie Koester, of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Betty, at home: three sons,
James. Thomas and Ralph, all at home; five step-children,
Donald and Willard, at home, Harold, of Lost Creek-blvd. Lima, Mrs. Benjamin Hoover, Greenlawn-av, Lima
and Mrs. John Hooker, Glenwood-av, Lama, and a sister, Mrs. Roman Miller, west of Ottoville.
Funeral services are to be held in Immaculate Conception Catholic church Monday at a time to be
announced later. Burial will be made in St. Marys cemetery. The Rev. Henry Gerwert will officiate at the
services. The body will be removed to the family residence from the Kolkmeyer funeral home, Delphos, Friday
evening.

Alphonse J. Wannemacher
Alphonse J. Wannemacher, 67, resident of Grand Rapids and native of Ottoville, died in St. Rita’s hospital,
Lima, Tuesday night at 10:45 following an illness of five months.
Mr. Wannemacher was born at Ottoville on December 27, 1884, a son of Henry and Emma Wannemacher.
He was married to Elizabeth Odenweller at Lima on February 16, 1909. The couple resided at Leipsic, before
moving to Gran Rapids.
Surviving are the wife, and the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. George Fierstos, Wabash, Ind., Ralph
S., of Wauseon; Mrs. Charles Bently. Ft. Wayne; Edwin, of Ottoville; Mrs. Adolph Lauer, Detroit; Gilbert of Ann
Arbor; Othmar of Delphos; Robert Wannemacher, of Ottoville; Mrs. Bernard Ricker, of Delphos, and Mrs.
Royce Baxter, of Van Wert.
Mr. Wannemacher was a member of the Modern Woodmen of Leipsic and the Grand Rapids Catholic
Church.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 o’clock in the Immaculate Conception Catholic
Church at Ottoville. Interment will be made in the church cemetery. The body will be a the Kolkmeyer funeral
home in Delphos until time for services.

Mary E. Calvelage
Mrs. Mary E. Calvelage, 60, wife of Walter Calvelage of east of Ottoville, died in St. Rita’s hospital, Lima,
Monday morning at 2:30. She had been seriously ill for a week suffering from a heart ailment and
complications.
She was born at Cloverdale on November 11, 1891, a daughter of Martin and Elizabeth Krieger, on
February 11, 1920. She was married in St. Barbara’s Catholic Church, Cloverdale, to Mr. Calvelage, who
survives.
Also surviving are five children, Eugen, Othmar, ay home; Leander and Loretta of Delphos, and Rita of
Findlay; three grandchildren; four brothers, Edward Krieger, of Herrisburg, Oreg., John and Henry Krieger, of
Detroit and Theodore Krieger, of Cleveland and two sisters, Elizabeth Krieger, of Toledo, and Mrs. Frances
Whitney, of Toledo. A son Arthur is deceased.
Last rites were held Thursday morning in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Ottoville, at nine
o’clock. Rev. Henry Gerwert, the pastor, officiated. Burial was made in St. Joseph’s cemetery at Ft. Jennings.

Christina M. Hoersten
Miss Christina Hoersten, 78, northwest of Ottoville, died at 8:30 p. m. Wednesday in her home.
Born Aug. 3, 1873, in Ottoville, she was the daughter of Florenz and Elizabeth Hoersten. She was a
lifelong resident of the community.
Surviving are one brother, John Hoersten, at home; four sisters, Mary, at home, Theresa and Minnie, near
Ottoville and Louise, Rockford.
Requiem high mass will be sung at 10 a. m. Saturday in the Immaculate Conception church, Ottoville. The
Rev. Henry Gerwert will officiate and burial will be in St. Marys cemetery.
The body will remain at the Kolkmeyer funeral home, Delphos, until Friday morning and then be removed
to the residence until time of services.

Susan Fredericks
Mrs. Susan Fredericks, 83, Hudson, Mich., died at 2:05 p.m. Thursday in the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Otto Elwer, Delphos.
Mrs. Fredericks, widow of Clem Fredericks, moved to Delphos three months ago to reside with her
daughter. Her husband died May 21, 1928.
A native of southeast of Ottoville, she was married in the Immaculate Conception church. Ottoville. Aug.
25, 1887. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic church and Altar society in Hudson, Mich.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Elwer, Mrs. Rosa Turnwald of Adrian, Mich., Mrs. Monica Doneth of Cofe,
Mich., Mrs. Tharsilla Turnwald of Cloverdale, Mrs. Armella Myers of Hudson, and Mrs. Alvera Sweet of
Muskegon, Mich.; three sons, Ed of Owosso, Mich., William of Monroe, Mich., and Cletus of Hudson, Mich.; a
brother, Peter Schille of Leipsic, 86 grandchildren and 116 great-grandchildren.
The body will remain in the Kolkmeyer funeral home, Delphos, until Friday afternoon and then will be
removed to the Otto Elwer residence in Delphos to remain Until 2 p. m. Saturday. The body then will be
removed to the residence at 208 Fayette-st, Hudson, Mich.
Services will be Monday morning in the Sacred Heart church and burial will be in St. Marys cemetery,
Adrian, Mich.

Henry J. Huber
Henry J. Huber, 70, laborer, died it 12:10 p. m. Sunday in Memorial hospital. Lima after a year's illnss.
Mr. Huber was born Jan. 8, 1882 at Ottoville. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic
church, the Holy Name society.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; a son, Andrew, at home; two brothers, John, of Delphos, and Frank of
Ottoville; and a sister, Mrs. Rose Dunlap, Lima.
Requiem services in Immaculate Conception Catholic church will be in charge of the Rev. Henry Gerwert
at 10 a. m. Wednesday. Burial will be made in St. Mary's cemetery south of Ottoville. The body will remain at
the Kolkmeyer funeral home in Delphos until services at the church.

Mary Hilvers
Miss Mary Hilvers, 63, Cincinnati, formerly of Delphos, died at 2 p. m. Sunday in St. Mary's hospital,
Cincinnati, following an illness since April. She had been seriously ill two days.
She was born in Ottoville and was a member of St. John's Catholic church, Delphos, and the Sacred Heart
league. She was housekeeper for the Sisters of Charity in Cincinnati many years.
Surviving are two brothers, William G. and Henry G. Hilvers, both of Delphos,
The body will remain in Kolkmeyer funeral home, Delphos, until services at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St.
John's church. Burial will be in the church cemetery-

Bernadine M. Clementz
Funeral services for Mrs. Bernadina M. Clementz, 70, who died Tuesday morning in her home three miles
north of Ottoville, will be held at 9:30 a. m. Saturday in Immaculate Conception Catholic church. Burial will be In
St. Marys cemetery. The Rev. Henry Gerwert will officiate.
Mrs. Clementz was the wife of Andy Clementz and the former Bernadina Perrin. Born on May 29, 1882,
she lived her entire life in this community.
Besides her church membership, she was a member of the church altar society and Catholic Ladies of
Columbia
Surviving are the husband, two daughters, Mrs. Valeria Siefker, on east of Delphos, and Mrs. Josephine
Bockrath, Cloverdale; four sons, Louis and Eugene, Kalida and Frank and Joseph of Ottoville; two brothers,
Charles Perrin, Ottoville, and William Perrin, Seattle, Wash.
The body was removed from the Kolkmeyer funeral home in Delphos to the Clementz home Tuesday
evening.

Frank H. Miller
Frank H. Miller, 80, Ottoville retired farmer, died at 1:45 a. m. Saturday in St. Rita's hospital where he had
been a patient for 16 days.
He was born Apr. 9, 1866, in Germany and came to the United States when a child. He had lived in the
Ottoville community ever since.
Mr. Miller's wife, the former Mary Moritz, died in 1951.
He is survived by three sons, Frank J., Ottawa; Isadora and Otto, Ottoville; four daughters, Mrs. Mary
Wehri, Kalida; Mrs. Rose Ricker, Ft, Jennings; Mrs. Lena Dickman and Mrs. Barbara Landwehr, both of
Ottoville; a brother, Adolph, Modesta, Calif., 44 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:30 a. m. Tuesday in the Immaculate Conception church, Ottoville, the Rev. Henry
Gerwert officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body was taken Saturday night from the Kolkmeyer funeral home, Delphos, to the home of a
daughter, Ms. Ricker, at Ft Jennings.

Mary Wurst
Mrs. Mary (Maime) Wurst, 72, died from a heart attack at 12:30 p, m. Wednesday in her home here. She
was the wife of Joe P. Wurst.
Born in this community July 11, 1880, her marriage took place in 1903.
Her husband survives with a daughter, Mrs. A. J. Friemoth, of Columbus; two sons, Wilbur, of Dayton, and
Joe, Jr., of Spencerville; two brothers, Frank of Van Nuys, Calif, and Edward, of Norwalk; two sisters, Miss Anna
Rekart of Toledo, and Mrs. Katherine Fournier, of Toledo, and nine grandchildren.
The body was removed from the Kolkmeyer funeral home at Delphos to the family residence. Funeral
services in the church will be held at 9 a. m. Saturday. Burial ill be made in the church cemetery.

Bishop To Conduct Mass for Priest Ottoville Pastor Dies on Saturday
The most Rev. George J. Rehring, Bishop of the Toledo diocese, will officiate at solemn pontifical mass at
10:30 a. m. Thursday for the Rev. Henry Gerwert, 70, who died Saturday following a heart attack a week ago.
Mass for Fr. Gerwert will be in the Immaculate Conception church, which he served as priest since 1936.
The body will be taken at 2 p. m. Tuesday to the rectory in Ottoville from the Kolkmeyer funeral home in
Delphos. It will be removed to the church Wednesday for the vesper for the dead at 3:30 p. m.
Matins lauds services will be at 10 a. m. Thursday with mass at 10:30 a. m. Burial will follow in the Ottoville
cemetery.
FR. GERWERT was born Oct. 29, 1881, in Hessen, Germany, the son of Henry and Catherine (Hoehne)
Gerwert. Hw was ordained at Toledo Aug. 28,1908, and conducted his first mass at North Auburn, O.
He first was assistant priest at Ottoville and then pastor at St. Nicholas parish, Miller City, before returning
here in 1936 as pastor.
Fr. Gerwert is survived by two brothers, Bernard and Theodore, West Phalen, Germany, and two sisters,
Mrs. Marie Sonnenseld and Mrs. Wilhelm Siesler, Essen, Germany.
He died in St. Rita's hospital at 9 a. m. Saturday.

Ottoville Native Dies At Delphos
Leander Honingford Heart Attack Victim
Leander A. (Jack) Honigford 53, resident of Delphos, died unexpectedly at his home Tuesday morning at
10:30 as a result of a heart attack.
Mr. Honigford was born in Ottoville on April 22, 1899, a son of Henry and Agnes Honigford. He was
married to Miss Helen Ulm at Delphos on May 1, 1928.
Surviving are his wife; four children, Thomas, with the U.S. Navy; Richard, Lois and William at home; six
sisters and brothers Mrs. Anna Brandehoff, Mrs. Bertha Stettler and Mrs. Martha Rode, Delphos; Al Honigford
of Lima, Mrs. Edna Wunderle, Cleveland, and Mrs. Irma Hurry of Convoy.
Funeral services will be held in St. John's Catholic Church at Delphos Friday morning at nine o'clock.
Burial will be made in the church cemetery. The remains will be at the Kolkmeyer Funeral home in Delphos
until time of services.

Frank Etgen
Frank Etgen, 66, died at 11:20 p. m. Tuesday at the Castle convalescent home in Van Wert. He had been
an invalid for 20 years.
Mr. Etgen was born in Landeck Aug. 28, 1886. He never married

Delphos, and Louis Etgen, Lima.
Mr. Etgen was a veteran of World War I and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and the
Veterans of Foreign Wars in Ottoville.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a. m. Saturday in the Immaculate Conception church at Ottoville with the
Rev. Lawrence Mossing officiating. Burial will be in St
Marys cemetery at Ottoville. The body will remain at the Kolkmeyer funeral home

Mary E. Beining
Mrs. Mary E. Beining, 70, wife of Henry J. Beining of west of Ottoville, died at 3:25 p. m. Sunday in St.
Rita's hospital after a year's illness.
She was born Aug. 20, 1882 and her marriage took place here on May 6, 1908 to Henry Beining. At the
time of her death she was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic church and the church Altar society.
Surviving are the husband, four daughters, Mrs. Veronica Hilvers of Ottoville; Mrs. Bertha Kimmet Mrs.
Martha Noonan, and Mrs. Elinor Kimmet, all of Delphos; five sons, Melvin, Lawrence, John, Adolph and Oscar,
all of this community; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Schimmoeller and Mrs. Henry Pohl, of Delphos, and four
brothers, Andy, Frank and Albert Hohlbein and Joe Sanders, all of Ottoville.
The body will be moved to the farnily home Monday evening. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral service for Miss Theresia H. Hoersten, 74, native of this community who died yesterday in her
home, will be held in Immaculate Conception Catholic church at 9:30 a. m. Monday. Burial will be made in St.
Mary's cemetery, south of Ottoville.
Surviving are two sisters, Mss Minnie Hoersten, at home, and Miss Mary Hoersten, northwest of here;
John, of Ottoville, and Louis of Rockford.
The body was removed to the family residence Friday morning from the Kolkmeyer funeral home in
Delphos.

John R. Becker
Reverend Father Becker Former Winamac Pastor Dies at Carthagena
Final rites for the Reverend Father John R. Becker, former pastor here, will be at ten o'clock EST Tuesday
in Carthagena, Ohio. Burial will be there.
The Reverend Father Becker, pastor of the St. Peter's Catholic church here until his retirement in July,
1950, died Friday night in Carthagena. Father Becker was also pastor of St. Joseph's Catholic church in
Pulaski county.
Born Dec. 27, 1882, in Ottoville, Ohio, he was ordained Dec. 29, 1911, in Carthagena. He was a graduate
of St. Joseph's college, Rensselaer and a member of the Precious Blood society.

Sylvester Miller
Sylvester J. Miller, 49, Ottoville died at 1:55 a. m. Thursday in St. Rita's hospital following an illness of a
year.
He was born in Ottoville Dec. 3, 1902, and was an electrician. He was a member of the Immaculate
Conception church in Ottoville.
Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Tille Eickholt, Ottoville; Mrs. Louetta Howe and Miss Adeline Miller Toledo;
Mrs. Lucy Schmitt, Ottawa; four brothers, Leo H. and Andrew J. Miller, Ottoville; Robert Toledo, and Oscar,
San Francisco
The body will remain in Kolkmeyer funeral home, Delphos, until services at 9:30 a. m. Monday Immaculate

Arthur J. Wannemacher
Funeral services for Arthur J. Wannemacher, 58, owner of the George Wannemacher implement store
here and at Delphos, will be held at 9:30 a. m. Thursday in Immaculate Conception Catholic church with Rev.
Lawrence Mossing officiating. Burial will be made in the church cemetery.
Mr. Wannemacher died Sunday in Van Wert-co hospital after a three-month illness. Born Aug. 6, 1894
here, his marriage to Cecelia Miehls took place hi Ft. Jennings Oct. 14, 1919. She preceded him in death.
He was a World War I veteran and a member of the Ottoville VFW and the St. Joseph's society of his
church.
Surviving are three sons, Harold. Ottoville, Ambrose and Lester, Delphos; a brother, Leander, Ottoville;
two sisters, Mrs. Viola Friemoth, Toledo, and Miss Stella Wannemacher, Ottoville. The body was removed from
the Kolkmeyer funeral home in Delphos to the residence of his son Harold Monday.

William F. Vincke
William Vincke, 68, died at 5 a. m. Saturday in his home in Ottoville after an illness of three months.
He was born July 21, 1881, in Ottoville and was married to Catherine Wannemacher. She died in 1942. He
was a member of the Immaculate Conception church in Ottoville.
Surviving are three brothers Joseph arid Ferd of Lima and George of Ottoville; two sisters Sister Mary
Gertrude, Franciscan convent, Chicago, and Mrs. Anna Giesken, Lima.
The body will remain in the Kolkmeyer funeral home pending completion of arrangements.

Lucille Gulker
Mrs. Lucille Gulker, 53, of 112 ½ S. Elizabeth-st, died in St. Rita's hospital at 4:20 a. m. Thursday after an
illness of four months.
Born in Ottoville, Mrs. Gulker had been a resident of Lima for several years. She operated the Vogue
Beauty parlor. She was a member of St, John's Catholic church and the Ladies Auxiliary of William Paul
Gallagher Post, American Legion.
Surviving is a son, Virgil, at home: four sisters, Mrs. Dan Byrne, Ottoville; Mrs. Andy Deitering, Chesaning,,
Mich.; Mrs. Edward Weber, Mio, Mich., and Mrs Al Schulien; Ft. Wayne, Ind.; five brothers. Frank, William, and
Gilbert, all of Delphos; John Brandehoff, Leona, Ind., and Lavern, living near Wapakoneta.
Arrangements are incomplete

Clement Metz
Clement Metz, 79, retired Ottoville produce dealer, died at St. Rita’s Hospital, Lima at 9:15 Thursday night
of last week. A heart ailment was the cause of his death and followed a serious illness of one day.
Mr. Metz was born on November 21, 1872, in Germany, a son of Gustav and Anna Metz. He came to the
United States when 11 years old.
Hw was married to Catherine Krebs in Cleveland on September 12, 1893. She preceded him in death on
October 1, 1937.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Cline and Mrs. Helen Williams, of Revenna, and Mrs. Kathryn
Gordon and Mrs. Marie Odenweller, Ottoville; two sons, Leonard of Decatur, Ind., and John Metz of Lima; 22
grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Young, of Cleveland. Six children preceded
him in death.
Last Rites were held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Ottoville Monday morning at 9:30.
Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Anthony F. Clementz
A. F. (Andy) Clementz, 64, farmer of three miles north of here, died at 1:35 p. m. Wednesday, in Lima St.
Rita's hospital after he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage at 10 a. m. in the Wannemacher Implement Co. store
here.
Born here June 15, 1888, he marked Bernadine Perrin who died Aug. 12. He was a member of Immaculate
Conception Catholic church, the Ottoville Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in
Delphos.
Two daughters, Mrs. Valeria Seifker, Delphos, and Mrs. Josephine Bockrath, Cloverdale; four sons, Louis,
of Kalida, Eugene and Frank, here, and Joseph, of Delphos; 29 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Konst,
of Lima, survive.
Requiem high mass will be held at 9:30 a. m. Saturday in Immaculate Conception Catholic church with the
Rev. J. F. Frommherz officiating. Burial will be made in the church cemetery. The body was removed from the
Kolkmeyer funeral home, Delphos, to the residence.

John Fischbach
Funeral rites for John Fischbach, 92, pioneer Ottoville farmer who died at 1:30 p. m. Tuesday at the home
of a daughter, Mrs. Louis Hoersten, Rockford, will be held here at 9:30 a. m. Friday. The Rev. J. F. Frommherz
will officiate. Burial will be made in St. Mary's cemetery south of Ottoville.
Mr. Fischbach died following a two-week illness. He had made his home with his daughter since 1949. His
wife, the former Mary Nichols, died June 4, 1947.
Surviving besides the daughter are two sons, Peter, of Ottoville, and Henry, of Delphos; 20 grandchildren
and 19 great-grandchildren.
At the time of his death he was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic church here and the St.
Joseph's society of the church.
The body will remain at the Kolkmeyer funeral home in Delphos until services in the church Friday.
